We are a precious stone in the eyes of our Lord, a diamond in the rough waiting to be molded. He is not a respecter of persons rather we are all welcome to enter a relationship with him. His arms are open for all to enter in.
This tunnel book is representative of our inner soul, as we take a deep look into who we are and how we become whom we are.
The back layer is the eye:
- The window to our soul
- The clock is time – time we have chosen to stay inside ourselves, in self pity or anger
- The open door
- The key to open that door
The second layer is:
- A baby’s hand in a mothers hand
- A young girl with her father, in happier days of innocence
- A women resting in peace
The front cover is:
- A couple very much in love
- A reflection of a dog, that represents my dog who loved and protected me with unwavering love
- A diamond a precious stone, reflecting how important we are to God and the relationship he wants with us.
The hands of God have touched each one of our lives, whether we have faith in God or not. As the eyes are the windows to our soul, what do they reflect to others? How do we allow God to show us what he what’s for our lives? Our eyes can appear sad and in pain, or show happiness and joy. At times we stay locked inside, in pain or sorrow not allowing anyone in, during those times thought of escape is distant.
When we take the key, of relationship with God and use it to unlock the door and we become reborn. It’s like a cocoon opening up for the first time. A rebirth becoming someone we didn’t believe could exist. We can again look at the times we felt safe in our fathers arms as a child growing into a young person and then to become a parent, to pass on to our children what is good and honest. Compassion, kindness, goodness, and love for others.
When we know we have come out of our shell so to speak, we can rest peacefully and secure. We can give 100% of our love to those around us.
Finally, we can rest assured that God loves us, we are all a diamond in the rough being molded into what he wants us to be.
